CURRICULUM

Yang Guang Qing International School of Beijing offers each student opportunities for excellence in the pursuit of academic achievement within the framework of a challenging Canadian - based, English-language curriculum.

YGQ’s High School strives to develop the intellectual curiosity and academic achievement needed for admission to top Universities and Colleges in Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe. The educational program is that of a traditional North American college preparatory school. The language of instruction is English, with required courses for all students in Chinese. YGQ offers a number of program pathways:

Manitoba Blended Program:Manitoba High School Diploma in addition to the National Chinese Program and Diploma. Most students earn both diplomas.

Manitoba International Program: Manitoba High School Diploma in accordance with the Manitoba Ministry of Education. Some Chinese classroom instruction is part of this pathway.

Sino Bright Schools and British Columbia Program: Yang Guang Qing also partners with Sino Bright Schools and British Columbia School District 47 to offer a three-year British Columbia program through which enrolled students earn an official BC High School Diploma. The last semester students study at a Canadian High School located in British Columbia.

University Preparatory Curriculum
